The wonderful Mayan Riviera
Playa del Carmen is one of the brightest stars in the area.
Inspiration
Oceana is much more than another real estate development. It is a life experience, everlasting summers and warm winters, packed with good memories, in a property that inch-by-inch is full of advantages and comfort. Oceana is an apartment complex of mixed uses. In the lower level it will have retail spaces for residents use. But Oceana is more than a building; we like to think that Oceana is a routine escape, knowing that just a couple of hours away by plane, lies paradise, awaiting for us.
How to get...
The Mayan Riviera is one of the most important touristic strips that have been developed in México. Facing the Caribbean, it comprises more than a hundred miles of hotels, resorts, spas, boutiques, water and adventure parks, villages, towns and cities with possibilities for every budget, taste, age and nationality. Getting there is as easy as flying to Cancun, whose airport moves 16 million people per year, from all around the world. Once there, getting to Playa is very easy, by taxi, private transportation or bus.

What to do...
You can choose among scuba diving in cenotes (plentiful in the area) or practice extreme sports in the different water parks located along the Riviera. Maybe you fancy a visit to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, near the Mayan Ruins of Tulum or just lay down in a sunbed over the soft, white sand, admiring the beautiful unique blue water of the Mexican Caribbean. Without a doubt, the shining star of the Riviera is Playa del Carmen, the biggest city of the touristic strip.
In “Playa” (how locals like to call it), the hard thing will be having nothing to do. It’s main street, Quinta Avenida, fully pedestrian, is home to boutiques, bars and restaurants that pose an extraordinary culinary offer. In Playa options are, to say the less, unlimited.
